HELICALLY WOUND TITANIUM TANK

The helically wound titanium tank was developed in the space program for storing Hydrogen and other ambient temperature gases under pressure. It went to the moon and back while you watched on television. Basically the sheet metal tank is structurally preloaded as the high tensile composite cord is helically wound onto the tank on a lathe creating a synergy which is similar to a tube in a tire. The advantage of preloading the tank with the cord to thousands of pounds pre square inch allows the gas to be compressed even further creating a light weight way of storing energy and is simple enough to become a cottage industry.
The Chrysler natural gas minivan conversion already uses a version of this tank. A safe light weight way to store Hydrogen will revolutionize transportation. ie. The Hydrogen wheel motor fuel cell powered electric transport. It will also make tank switching possible for rural gas delivery rather than filling tanks that were too heavy to move.
A manufacturing idea which still has to be proven out.
We worked with induction
coupling in the early seventies to create thin film photo voltaics. One of the
things we discovered was that the gallium doping did not come to plasma with
the silicon. So we deduced that each mineral has a different frequency that
brings it to plasma. That brought us to the conclusion that Titanium would be
available in sea salt and could be directly plated or sputtered on a substrate
to manufacture a titanium tank. In other words a frequency twice the atomic
weight of the mineral Titanium times a thousand, for the induction coupling of
sea salt would perhaps bring the Titanium to plasma directly from sea salt. In
a vacuum chamber the titanium plasma could be attracted to a wax mold covered
in carbon powder creating a tank. The wax would be melted after the tank was
preloaded by helically winding it with high tensile composite cord. This would
produce a structurally preloaded tank with very few steps.
The term New Alchemy has been bandied about when All-Chemy is about the original school of thought _ MIND. When we have the ability to take minerals from sea salt, gold from lead becomes a moot point. The MIND challenge is the ability to function radiation to matter? Gold as a viable value to substitute for TIME is also a moot point.
Frank Lloyd Wright gave away the concrete block by making it public domain. Nobody could patent it to keep it off the market or create a general motors frankencorp of construction materials. This created a cottage industry out of making concrete block and broke the brick monopoly. The Helically wound Titanium tank can do the same ie. thousands of families in small industries can create a cottage industry manufacturing them locally just like the concrete blocks etc.. The motors in the wheels for transportation as well as the Wireless phone and Internet-Intranet. are other examples of this kind of frankencorp busting.
