FOCUS: http://groups.google.com/groups?q=FOCUS+raenergy&start=0&ie=UTF-8&

If what we are contemplating is not fair to our progeny we have a failed event in retrospect
--Raleigh

This isn't a pitch for or against hoarding firepower, but different points of view. For starters are we giving too much press to securing ourselves rather than dealing with the real threat.

We are also attempting to forge coalitions and many of us have in the past and may in future want to own guns simply as good machinery. We can't achieve a fair constitution by banning the possession of machinery ie. like chain saws and weed eaters.

Much has been said about security and gun ownership etc. but we need to travel out of the mind boxes we now exist under and transcend to what can be. The idea of a new constitution is to set down a new premise hopefully to defuse the competition for life support game or the human race as a contest that has to be won or you starve..

The way many perceive national security today is the protection of our home ground, the trade routes of merchants, and ventures on land we have exploited. At the least most land on Earth, for lack of a better word, has been stolen, manipulated from the indigenous, the former self sufficient and is kept in our possession by the so called rule of law. Which of course is by force and we are all accomplices. This force if relinquished would immediately allow this artificial situation to dissolve ie. nobody respects stolen land. To make matters worse many see us as an opulent civilization ruled by an elite that are simply later day pirates putting on airs so to speak.

So the rubic cube here is to thread a series of events together to develop some high ground. We need to allow the meekest among us to enjoy the same standard of living as the formerly greedy and careless. And we need to do this without turning the planet into a cinder.

That having been said the tiptoe through the tulips journey is in the genius of asking the right question. And that famous question is "Wouldn't it be nice if" which can be morphed into "IMAGINE" If the human race wasn't a contest ie. a world without conflict where education wasn't the abortion of the inner child and the nurturing of the inner timber wolf. And 'This land is made for you and me' sung with 'We ain't going to study war no more' as our anthems. Which of course is just the opposite of what our so called advanced civilization is doing now, right up to the bombs bursting in air anthems.

We wouldn't have to study war no more if we had a level playing field especially if every body had one. A novel approach would be to institute a bill of "birth-rights" that would eliminate the haves from the have not's class warfare ie. defuse insecurity. Simply put, if it was voted, by a super majority of the living, that the planet was the property of, and on loan to us from, our progeny, it would put things in the prophetic center. This global land trust arrangement can be structured to give every family on the planet an acre or so of land or even a acre of land for everybody on Earth and the technology to be self sufficient on that same acre. http://www.igc.apc.org/raenergy/means.html

A personal royal acre for the sovereign citizen is no a big deal. We have six billion people on Earth and Three and half billion acres in the US and probably four or five billion in Canada. Spread around the planet it wouldn't even be noticeable. If we apply our C21 city system we have a chance for real equality. The technology enabling a self sufficient family to live and produce their own high tech food chain on the same acre they live on is in http://www.igc.apc.org/raenergy/c21city.html

That in turn calms down most of the ruckus except for the transition times which brings us back to security.

In our self imposed guidelines or Premise in our think tank discussions, we attempt to use what we call Clone of Earth technology to solve problems. We called it Abotech when we were on the WELL in the eighties where Mother Earth is the original aboriginal.

So to supplement personal self defense like martial arts etc. in situations where we are on our own, in sovereign groups (C21 City Scapes) etc. , it may be necessary to have deterrents to fend off the dysfunctional ten percent of the population that never gets the message. We came up with a lowest common denominator solution. For defense from natures point of view, almost to a species, nobody messes with bees, skunks and porcupines. On the natural deterrent track we already have pepper spray but it has it's drawbacks. To improve it and add the big three we came up with a pellet delivered under the skin which will sting like the worst tazer, contain a knockout drug, and inject a color to the skin and a smell nobody can stand that would last for a month. The odor and the color and even the drug combination is an assigned signature that can be traced which deters casual discharge. The smell and the color makes it hard to hide or for any one to deny being at the scene and sort of brings back the old pillory.

So if everybody were packing one of these little fountain pen gismos or the group had rifle-cannon-missile models with strategies, civilization could enjoy the same security as Switzerland without having to oil the machinery. 'Benign ordinance' as attitude adjustment would be a unique synergy ie. the best of convivial Abo-tech. Theory being we could gain respect with out anybody getting killed.

Over eighty percent of all crime is intimate crime(CIA-FBI almost secret study) which can't be controlled by police. If intimate crime(by people that know each other) can be held down by citizens themselves we can reduce the largest part of the crime problem ie. the huge police forces put together under false pretenses for crime prevention that is un-preventable according to the CIA-FBI!

This softens the tax outlays for huge police and military organizations who barely manage three percent of the remaining crime. The remaining crime is designer sin like the phony drug war which In itself amounts to fifty percent of incarcerations in the US etc.. Much of the rest of crime is generated by the greedy and downright ornery. Some of the remaining crime is because of sex taboos and people trying to feed their family because of the planed scarcities keeping prices artificially high complicated by unemployment scams. White collar crime is beyond the levels of training of modern law enforcement strategies and the biggest crimes today like usury driven cultural genocide, aren't even considered a crime by the constitutions of today. Ending our education practices of the abortion of the inner child and the nurturing of the inner timber wolf along with a fair constitution-bill of rights thus taking some of the competition out of life support, much of this crime would not exist.

So with a proper bill of birth rites and the technology to give the sovereign citizen personal attitude adjustment capability, we can think of the next step ie. making the sovereign citizen phenomenon possible with the redistribution of TIME. With out the need to generate a tax economy just to pay for police and armies to protect the shady ventures of later day pirates and the land they stole in our name, perhaps poverty would be a moot point.

Right on the head. Fear is generated and even exaggerated as an excuse to augment police presence to protect those who are fearful of the old testament eye for an eye retaliation by the oppressed. Designer sin is created to generate violence similar to what happened in Germany in the thirties. It was the right wing extremists, the industrialists, behind Hitler that covertly bankrolled the background noise and violence in order to elect the law and order NAZI party, no. We are going through a polished up version of that same strategy right now. We have representative oligarchy representing organized usury, in power by default, elected by simple majority by less than five percent of the citizens of legal voting age, talking law and order.

The carpet bagging going on in Russia today is the no regulation movie playing right now.

Unregulated neo liberalism is what is causing terminal nihilism on a global scale. No appreciation, no accomplishment , no hope ie. nihilism.

What is reason in your opinion may not be in mine. Fear

>may well be reasonable. Fear in a natural emotion, part of the "fight or

The fearful firearm fondlers should ask these questions. Are you part of the class who care nothing of the depravity of your fellow man as long as you have yours? Are you fearful of the golden rule seeing you have violated it? Is it really just your house in harms way of an occasional burglar? Could it be fear of all those Christian converts who were taught 'To do unto others as you would have them do unto you', taking it seriously? We have an invaded the two thirds undeveloped world who feel they are all cheeked out while still asked to turn the other cheek. Why are you so unlike your Christ as Gandhi repeatedly asked.

In today's domestic routines we see that owning a gun gets you involved with the governments for permits etc. and if you don't you are likely to end up like Waco or Ruby Ridge.

The extreme of government involvement is Switzerland where every body over fifty is in the militia and has semi automatic rifles at home. This is the beehive effect as far as a conqueror is concerned and it does have an equalizing effect and people have a general respect for one another.

As for personal respect Eleanor Roosevelt said that "No can insult you unless you let them". If you place the integrity of others above yours they can insult you, making it is a matter of equality, no. If we are all equal who has the ability to insult if the ego is in balance.

Until the equality premise factors are in place we have to be in a position to create equality. I remember we used to have wrestling, judo and boxing training in the basement of our church. We learnt to have respect for each other because we knew we could inflict damage so everybody was called sir in those days.

Personal self defense gave us confidence and the ability to defend ourselves. Just the way we carried ourselves would somehow fend off the goons in town. Today martial arts training gives the kids the same kind of self confidence. and if properly taught it can eliminate the desire to pack machinery as it did before ie. prior to us it was fencing and dueling etc..

As we got older there was military training where we learnt knives, rifles and guns and really how to kill. This is where the real trouble starts. When the war(WW2) was over there were millions trained to kill. We have kept up this pace for all these decades after the war ie. It's a jungle out there.

The wrinkle is that in any society we have about ten percent who are screwed up somehow. In that group are the greedy the money worshipers or that five percent of the population who comprise the unearned income crowd and wanabee aristocracy. We also have the dim ones who have been trained to kill and are co-oped by the greedy to prey on the population. Unfortunately law and order is a phenomenon to protect what was stolen in many cases and to protect those who develop predatory economics ie. protects contracts manipulated by deception management in too many 'buyer beware cases' like the pyramid schemes in Albania.

If we are to attempt to form small support groups apart from the law and order infrastructure we need to have strategies where we don't fall prey to the loony ten percent or have weapons used against us as Gandhi pointed out. The pelletized misery munitions fills the gap.

No one with a gun has

>> ever proved anything beyond the somewhat temporary ability to

>

Everybody armed as in Switzerland did work, even against the NAZIs. They just didn't mess with the bees. There was a town in 'Tennessee that made it illegal to not carry a gun. Crime went to zero and they were able to close their police department. The benign ordinance issued to everybody would be a C21 version of this strategy. A fair constitution and bill of rights would diffuse the situation making arms less and less a factor.

>Was the American Revolution the exception or was Ghandi the exception.

New gorilla war tactics and new technology like exploding layden jars etc. were deployed against the British which decided most of the military nonsense. The real power was in the resolve of the colonists to create their own letters of correspondence that were partially projected into the constitution we have today. O course it is only a partial document which we are in the business of completing right here on this list.

The real impact was when the colonists giving themselves the high ground with their constitution and bill of rights later, simply decided on self sufficiency and refused to use the currency or the goods and services of the Brits ie. the Gandhi strategy. http://www.igc.apc.org/raenergy/gandhi.html

We have the same opportunity today to oust the aristocracy or the later day pirates who are operating as organized usury.

'Grab em' was also the motto of CREEP(Citizens to RE-Elect the President)Nixon. It was found on a plaque on Colson's office wall. Organized usury today are for the most part those history revisionists who came to praise Nixon not to bury him. Today's mission CREEP is Citizen REactionaries to Exploit the Planet.

War is fought by youth in their prime and instigated by politicians (representative oligarchy) who are doing the biding of their mentors. The civil war was no different and Lincoln was a politician. The republican party was formed around getting tax loopholes, lowering wages and getting control of government to end regulation over their neo liberalism(organized usury) and aid in their overseas exploits(legalize piracy).

The civil war was a travesty whether planed in advance or just playing the scams as they unfolded or a combination of both is immaterial. The civil war amounted to upsetting southern industry who had what the Northerners thought was an unfair trade advantage due to slave labor. The Northerners played their cards to instigate the war and gained the advantage of carpet bagging the 'south but all those runaway former slaves would in turn lower wages in the north as they flooded the labor markets lowering wages world wide. This is no different then the unearned income crowd (Organized usury) upsetting the safety net today. All those former welfare recipients flood the labor market and lowers wages. What makes you think that the Civil war pirates were any different than the later day pirates in control of government by default today?

These noble acts, both welfare reform and emancipation obtained with all the wrong motives are benefits to civilization. Unfortunately the minorities are still struggling to break the hate barriers and former welfare recipients who are basically incapable of supporting themselves because most of the jobs have been shipped off shore or have been eliminated by productivity increases due mostly to machinery, are in limbo. These are the catch 22s we have to fess up to and over come in our C21 constitution weave.

Nihilism of today is worse because many of the oppressed are those who have fought in wars to protect the wealth they never saw.

>You are saying that an armed populace is not desired because a resistance is

>futile. The government always wins?

Every country in the world has as standing army to control it's own population. When every country is run by a supply side aristocracy or a small group of supply side bureaucrats it only makes sense, no. The system is set up that way from the constitution down ie. Man against man no mater how you look at it.

If you look at firearms as owning machinery it takes the stupid part of the argument out of it. Fertilizer is far more dangerous than guns and more people are run over by cars and injured by power tools. Alcohol-Tobacco kills more people and costs far more than any trauma on earth ie. the medical expenditure in this country (US) is nearly a trillion bucks. Half of that is auto accidents by drunk drivers and alcohol-tobacco related misery. Except for a few urban areas, firearm wounds don't amount to one percent even if you count the military. Deaths are few hundred for firearms a few thousand for knives as opposed to forty or fifty thousand for car accidents and a half million apiece for alcohol and tobacco related deaths a year. And fossil fuel kills fifty thousand in this country an millions more globally with it's second hand smoke

> Gun owners are goons and

>Christians are zealots.

No so, exploiting an isolated event is appealing to the superstitious who may become goons either in defense of their stupidity or by the encouragement you inadvertently gave them

Not all Christians are zealots not all zealots Christians but zealots in general are a pain in the butt ie. sell it by zealot.

I pledge allegiance to the meekest among us

Let us experiment with laws and customs, with money systems and governments, until we chart the one true course - until we find the majesty of our proper orbit as the planets above have found theirs& And then at last we shall move all together in the harmony of our sphere under the great impulse of a single creation - one unity, one system, one design.
